There are two kinds of leather according to their sources. One is natural leather, the other is artificial leather. Man-made leather is cheaper than natural leather, so it is often cheated by bad traders. Man-made leather is used instead of natural leather to obtain high profits.

TcPU leather

There are several ways to distinguish artificial leather from dermis:

Look at the packaging of materials such as label shuffling, label weaving, tag hanging, etc. – – When buying any product, it depends on the material of the product, which can be first through label shuffling, label weaving, tag hanging. Dermis will generally reflect: cowhide, pigskin, samples; leather will be reflected as: water-based PU, artificial leather. Of course, this method only works for conscientious businessmen.

Discriminate by burning. When ignited, artificial leather produces a pungent odor and knots, while leather produces a hair odor without knots.

Identify by looking at the surface markings. The surface of dermis is deep and irregular. The pattern of artificial leather is regular and shallow.

By comparing the material at the bottom of the leather to identify. The bottom of the dermis is made of animal fibers, which are usually thicker. Artificial leather can only fake the surface like real leather. In order to shape, the bottom is usually fixed with knitted bottom and plastic bottom.

Distinguish from the feeling. At first touch, a slippery, unnatural feel like wax is usually leather.
