Clean up your water-based PU leather bag
The purpose of purging a purse is the same as that of a person taking a bath. Before applying skin lotion to maintain the skin, it is necessary to clean the body. The most common way to clean your purse is to wipe your purse with a damp cloth. However, my personal recommendation is to buy a can of leather cleaner and then follow the instructions above to clean it up. It is recommended to choose as many cleaners as possible for the leather goods or bags. After cleaning, remember to don’t forget to air dry! Because the humidity of each place is different, in Jiangsu’s climate, it usually takes about 10-20 minutes to air dry. If you live, just use an electric fan!
If your purse is exposed to sweat, moisture, or stiffness for a long time, you may need to refer to other special maintenance methods.
Maintenance of water-based leather bags
When it comes to “care”, you must first find the right care lotion or oil. There are many products on the market today. Before you buy, make sure that the product you buy is suitable for the maintenance of water-based leather bags. I don’t recommend using products with strong waxiness, because such skin care products usually affect the permeability of leather.
When wiping water-based leather, be sure to use a soft cloth that does not lint, because you don’t want to see a lot of “slag” besides the maintenance oil on the bag (microfiber cloth is the best choice).
Never pour (or apply) the maintenance oil directly onto the purse. Be sure to wipe it on a cotton cloth.
The maintenance bag is not cleaning the table. Imagine doing a SPA massage for the bag. Slowly spread the maintenance oil evenly so that the leather can absorb it.
Applying a small amount of oil to the purse is better than just applying a thick layer of maintenance oil to the purse.
If you want to apply more than one oil, it is best to leave 30 minutes before and after
